I should have waited...am I allowed to post breaking news.

Just have to pray they keep it clean like a premier league soccer jersey if they go for it. The euro league jerseys are an abomination with amount of ads they jam on there.

(Also, it's hard to imagine WHO could even advertise on the jerseys because of all of the conflicts no?)

Simply a depth signing. Thompson injured for who knows how long? Horcoff 39 and Wagner still waiver exempt. Santorelli has playoff experience. At 875,000 no real risk. If he doesn't work out, waive him.

Understood, blog lists Cogs as part of our center depth (and while technically true), he's not playing center. Hasn't for awhile now. Thus the Santorelli signing.

What's going on? Until somebody brought up Cogliano(which was a side mention of this blog) all these comments have nothing to do with the blog.

I'm started to think this ESPN prospect list is super subjective - but I guess as prospects goes that's all you can really do. He's more or less putting them in order of highest drafted - in the most recent year.

I doubt ESPN would ever be biased in favour of the Leafs though. Were they not the ones who ranked top franchises - using criteria they invented - that would automatically find the Leafs at the bottom. They weigh so heavily on "bang for your ticket prices / buck".

Does anybody know what's up with Connor Brown? He's not in the rookie tournament and I haven't heard any news... I have a lot of faith in the OHL player of the year and then AHL rookie of the year. What trophy will he win next year? Well Marlies will win the Calder Cup so I guess that counts.
